Windows 10: My PC won't turn on after touching the power cable on my PC

My PC won't turn on after touching the power cable on my PC. I have seen that all the PSU plugs are plugged in with the motherboard. And the power adapter is well-connected to the power source. Also, the PSU is completely fine, but the PC is not turning on. But it turns on after a few hours or days. And accidental shaking of the power cable often causes such problems. Please help me to fix thas error.

My PC won't turn on after update

I installed some updates while I stepped away from my PC. When I came back I found it like in a hibernation state and irresponsive. I tried disconnecting the power cable and restarted it but nothing. I even tried to put in the installation disc but there's no power to open the tray. I do see an led light, telling me that power is coming in but not enough to boot. Do you have any suggestions. Friends PC won't turn on

He was very vague as he doesn't know much about pc's so I can't say for sure. Thanks for the suggestion though I will take along a spare power supply.
