  1. my personal computer says it's managed by my organization

My computer says that it's managed by my organization, but it's my personal computer. I checked the account settings and the only account there is a personal account. Why is it managed by an organization? I saw this when I was trying to use PC health check and when I was checking updates.

  2. See settings managed by organization

Hello Dave, thanks for helping me

Well, it is kind of annoying and abnormal to my opinion that, as computer owners, we do not get a list of the settings managed by our organization.

I am a student that is using his private computer with two accounts, the first as my personal account, and the other as the "work or school account".
I am indeed sometime getting the "this setting is managed by your organization" message (even though I know it's not an "error"); thus, I would have liked to have an exhaustive list of all the settings that are managed by my organization without needing to check every settings page and tabs one by one.

my personal computer says it's managed by my organization

Tech support allowed my personal computer to be managed by organization, how to remove?

During a tech support call, the support agent installed MS Teams and it asked if I wanted to allow my organization to manage my device. He said yes by habit before remembering that this was my personal computer. He did remove the organization's account in Settings, but the policies seem to have stuck. For example, my PIN has expired (even though the settings prior to this included no expiration) and the requirements for a new PIN are now different from my old requirements. Also, when I go into Settings to change the PIN requirements it says they're managed by my organization. There are a few other things too. I don't really want to change each one back one by one because I might miss something. Is there some way to undo what he did? Or do I need to take a day to create a new profile, transfer files, reinstall apps, and remove the old one (ugh)?

I did try the suggestion on the page below, and restarted, but my PIN policies are still stating they're managed by my organization and not changeable.

Fix: Some of these settings are managed by your organization in Windows 11 - Tech Based

I was on Win11 Home, but in order to access the group policy editor I upgraded to Win11 Pro.

Thanks in advance for your advice.
