Windows 10: My phone is asking for code shown on PC

I am running windows 8.1 unable to buy a new computer at this time. And wanting to hook my phone pixel 7 pro to my desk top. This is asking me to put in a code but I am unable to find this being I don't us app on my desk top. And the reason for it way to mean that I don't need to have and they drive me nuts to have unless app on my screen. Opened as a list on my phone, I don't see anything with date columns to click on;;

 

Stop Windows 10 from asking to link phone to computer

Besides Group Policy, what other ways have you tried ?
Do you utilize Shared experiences, Share across devices ?

Unlink your phone from your PC running Windows 10, use these steps:

• Open Settings.
• Click on Phone.
• Click the Unlink this PC option. Unlink your phone from computer.
• Click the Home button.
• Click on Devices.
• Click on Bluetooth & other devices.
• Select your phone.
• Click the Remove device button.

 

Change order of how phone pictures are shown on PC

Further to the explanation provided by Denis, click the view tab, sort by details, right-click the top of the 'Name' column, add a checkmark next to 'Date Authored', then click the top of the 'Date Authored' column once or twice to sort descending dates.

You may also choose to change from 'Details' view now, back to icons and the files will remain sorted, newest to oldest, if that's your preference.
