    My pictures have disappeared but a different one each start shows up on one of the tiles....


    Sometime ago I lost a lot of folders and I am trying to recover some of them. Different pics show up on a tile on the start page and if I click on it, it takes me to about half a doz that I have saved since I lost the others. Where are these coming from? Should I be able to get them back? Nothing is backed up as I didn't know how.

    Tiles Disappear

    Since the last update I can no longer move the tiles around. When I try they disappear and the tiles take a greyed out appearance. and I have to restart. If I go to the program that I tried to move I get the option to unpin from the start menu. I remove it then pin to start again it does not show in the tiles. Any suggestions on why this is happening?

    how do i reset the start menu in windows 10 to not show tiles?

    A few days ago, my friends Win10 computer stopped showing his desktop and now only shows the tiles (he wants to see the default list of programs, not any tiles).

    Clicking on the Windows key or "start menu" doesn't change anything. I stepped him through some online suggestions (including Settings/Start/Use-start-full-screen and making sure Settings/Table-mode was not engaged) but they don't work.

    I've also compared his settings (Start/Use-start-full... and Table-mode) to my Win10 machine and they are the same.

    Assistance/suggestions would be appreciated.

    Windows Start Settings show more tiles disappeared

    Hi all, please help me to solve this problem. I am using Windows 10 Home edition. After i formatted it (still the same edition), i found that my Start Settings is different.

    This Settings suppose look like this,

    BUT, RIGHT NOW, it look like this,

    The Start preview pane is not showing and the "Show more tiles" option also not exist.
