Windows 10: My Pictures Library Now includes <folder name>-<Month>

Something strange happened with the last Windows 10 update. When I view the 'My Pictures' library, I now see my folder name, say 2020 (for the year), and then windows is now display 2020-3, 2020-4, 2020-5, etc. So it's adding groups by month. These folders don't exist, so it's a view setting. I've tried to turn off grouping, doesn't change anything. Arrange by is Folder. It never use to display this way. I only have folders by year so all the -Months are 'virtual' or a view setting.

Any idea how to just view the top level folder when viewing My Pictures Library?
Or turn off this '-month' view? Thanks

Picture User Folder vs Library Picture Folder / Add to User folder

Hi,



Form the issue description, I realize that you are trying to view your pictures in the default pictures library. To do so, you have to change the location of the folder that contains your pictures to the default pictures library folder.



To view your pictures in the default pictures library, I suggest you to follow the steps below.

• 
  Right-click on the default Picture folder
  and click on Properties.
  
• 
  Navigate to Location tab.
  
• 
  Click on Move…. and select the folder that contains your pictures and click on
  Apply and then click on Ok.

Map a network drive folder to my video library

To Include folders using Manage Library Tools, we suggest that you perform the steps below:

• In File Explorer, select or open a library (ex: Videos) you want to include a folder or drive to.
• Click on the Library Tools Manage tab, and click on the Manage library button in the ribbon.
• Click on the Add button
• Browse to and select a folder or drive that you want to include in this library, and click on the Include folder button.
• When finished, click/tap on OK.

Libraries Pictures folder not up to date

We use the library function for the ability to quickly go to a particular month/day to see what pictures are there. Today, I noticed that while recent pictures are in the folder where they are stored, they do not show up in the pictures library. Nothing
for the past 5 days is showing up. Settings for the folder are the same.

Suggestions?
