    my pictures stopped showing me the preview, only the standard pic icon is visible and i have to open to picture to see which picture is this. How do i fix this

    Picture ICONS instead of thumbnail pics

    Suddenly all of my picture thumbnails are ICONS, instead of thumbnail pics. I have gone through the steps of Unchecking a box that says "always show ICONS instead of thumbnails" and that did NOT help.

    I don't like Microsoft Edge or the Cloud, I think those are the culprits that keep doing this to my thumbnails.

    I have tried every "fix" that I can find by google and nothing has helped. I am using Windows 10. One site said Windows 10 is known for doing this. I tried clearing the cache. I made sure that the right box is checked/unchecked whichever. I scanned for malware.
    None of this has worked. I even downloaded Icaros. Nothing. Please, please does someone have a new idea?

    My desktop pictures are not showing only the icons with a generic pic

    I hope to explain this right. Everything was working great. This happened after my computer did a update a few days ago and now my pictures preview are not showing just the generic icon shows. I have windows 10 and on a PC. I looked at you tube videos
    tried the steps that were shown to me and nothing seems to work. I have restarted my computer several times and nothing helps.
