  1. My pin is disabled and start up options are not showing up?

Hey, since last week my computer has been saying my pin is unavailable with an option that says “set up my pin” below it. However, when you click the option, nothing happens. I’ve looked up YouTube tutorials to learn to hold the shift key down while restarting to go to the troubleshoot menu. However, once I get to the troubleshoot menu, the options that are available on the YouTube videos are not there for me? The only option I see available is “start-up settings” and none of them have worked while I’ve tried to use them. Help needed please.

    :)

No Option to Pin to Start

So there's no option to have recent docs directly from the start if the program is pinned to the start menu now?
That seems like a step backward

  3. No Option to Pin to Start

The app does not appear in the most recent apps list if it is pinned to start (for me anyway), if an app does get pinned as most used, then you get a dropdown that functions the same a right clicking on the item in the taskbar (eg I have IE as my most used and it has a dropdown of my recent visited sites)

Explorer shows recent items, but doesn't seem to show documents, might be a setting for this, need to look more into it

    Disable Sign In PIN

    Hello,

You can also disable PIN using registry. Try these steps:

    1. Open Registry Editor.
    2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System.
    3. Set AllowDomainPINLogon to 0.
    4. Close Registry Editor and reboot your system.

    Hope this helps!
