Windows 10: My pointer is lagging

Hello, I installed Windows 10 yesterday but my pointer is lagging. Please help me

Mouse pointer lag

Hi

can anyone help with a problem that has just appeared on the second of my split screens. The mouse pointer is lagging slightly but worse than that when I click on a drop down box I almost need to use the pointer as a shading tool and have to colour it in
for it to appear.

My tech capabilities on a scale of one to ten is about 4 so any suggestions well received.

Oh but I did do a hard reboot to see if that shook things up

Mouse pointer lags and videos lagging


Hi,

For the past week, I have noticed that sometimes the youtube videos lags and sometimes even my mouse pointer lags a lot. I am not sure on why this is occuring. I have used CCleaner to clean up the temporary files. I have screenprinted the resource monitor window, if that might help solve my issue.

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.
