  1. My primary mouse click is the opposite of settings.

I have a problem where my primary mouse settings are the opposite of what is in the settings. In my settings the primary mouse click is set to right although in everyday use the left mouse is the primary and the right is the options like a typical format. The only problem is when I play games and the game will take inputs as it is designated in the settings and suddenly the right mouse becomes the primary and the left becomes the secondary.

In the settings, there are two places where you can adjust mouse options. One in the settings app where you have a drop-down menu to pick left or right as you primary and the other in control panel-mouse settings where the "switch primary and secondary buttons" is. These two settings always seem to be at odds with each other, and I cannot get it to the point where the left click is bith the designated primary button and is actually the primary button in practice. Even if I uncheck "switch primary and secondary buttons" and select left in the drop-down menu the right button remains the primary button and if I close settings and open it again it has adjusted itself back to have right as the primary.

This is so annoying! I thought about deleting the driver but if I do that, will it automatically reinstall itself once the system restarts or should I download a copy of the driver before I delete it?

    :)

    primary mouse button changes itself

Since I upgraded to Windows 10 several days ago, I have been having problems with my mouse. Without any apparent reason, the primary mouse button setting changes, but without actually changing the setting in the settings panel. So if I have my primary
button set to left, when it changes all by itself, the right button becomes the primary button. But when I go to the settings panel, it still says that my left button is the primary button, but it is actually working as if it had been set to the right button.

As a short term fix, I can set the mouse settings panel to be opposite what I want and have it function as intended, at least until the setting changes on it's own again, or I restart the machine. If the button was set opposite for the short term fix, it
will have to be set back again when the machine is restarted.

    Mouse primary button setting

I use a scroll mouse on the desktop with windows 10, and use "Right" as my primary button. I remote login to the same desktop while I am away using a laptop (mac os or windows 10) which has a normal mouse, and every time I login, I have to change the primary
    button setting to "Left".

Can this setting be saved when logging in using remote desktop, so windows understands to use different primary buttons for mouse?
