Windows 10: My printer has been locked out from using it . Need help Was told i need {windows Registry...

My printer has been locked off my computer. One minute it worked then stopped. A message came onto the screen stating someone was trying to do something illegal, Said to call a 1 88 number for help . Then i read also I needed the Windows Registration Key to unlock it . Can you help me ? Gene

Also, check for Windows updates.

I suggest you to run the Printer Troubleshooter and check if it helps.
