Windows 10: My printer says its jammed on Word but its not. I can't print anything now. Can you help?

Hi, Im not sure who this is going to but, oh well, anything helps as long as this issue gets fixed. So I was printing some papers on word and well, I made a mistake in pulling the paper out from printing when it was 1/8 into the printer. Nothing happened but my paper got to get a printer what I was going to print on it 1/8 of the page. No biggie.BUT NOW, I am trying to put the paperback in-NO PAPER STAYED INSIDE THE PRINTER--it's FINE- and word keeps on saying on the "Print" button, where it asks what printer to add, "Jammed" or "Printer paper jammed" or "Paper jammed".UGH, it so annoying plea

HP printer envelope jam

Hello,

I have a HP Officejet 4500 Desktop printer. My printer prints letter size paper with no problems. But if I vertically insert an envelope into the paper tray, the envelope jams. Previously, my printer would print envelopes with no problems. I have looked inside the front and the back of the printer, but I do not see any paper jams. I have run HP Print and Scan Doctor, but that doesn't solve the problem. I have turned the printer off and back on, but that doesn't work either. Can anyone tell me why my envelopes are jamming? I am running Windows 10.

With regard to your query, the paper may be jammed if the rear cover is not closed completely. Push the rear cover until it is closed. If you are still having this issue, we suggest that you follow these methods below and see it helps.

Method 1: Run Hardware and device troubleshooter.

• Press Windows + X keys.
• Select Control Panel.
• Click on Troubleshooting.
• Select Hardware and Sound.
• Click on Printer to automatically troubleshoot printer issues.
• Follow the on-screen prompts..

Method 2: Roller cleaning.

• Press Windows + X keys.
• Select Control Panel.
• Click on Hardware and Sound.
• Click on Devices and Printers.
• Select your Printer Device.
• Under Printer Management, select Display Printer
  Properties.
• Select Maintenance.
• Select Roller Cleaning.
• Follow the on-screen prompts.
