Windows 10: My program in-use freezes, but sound keeps playing and all other apps are completely fine.

So I have this issue with my laptop, where my program anything, even file explorer I'm currently using freezes for 5-30 seconds. The thing is, sound and other programs are completely fine.My specs:CPU: Ryzen 5 5600H + integrated GPUGPU: GeForce RTX 3060RAM: 16GB DDR4Internal disk: SSDI tried to run /sfc, or even reinstall Windows, but nothing seems to work and it's driving me insane. I'll be glad for any help.

Programs keep freezing(not resporting)

Do let us know the following information to assist you better with this issue:

• What is the make and model of your device?
• From when are you facing this issue?
• Is there any error code/ error message with this issue?

Step 1: Run the System maintenance troubleshooter.

System Maintenance troubleshooter finds and clean up unused files and shortcuts and performs maintenance tasks.

• Press Windows key and type Troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting and hit Enter.
• Click on View all in the left pane of the window.
• Select System Maintenance.
• Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

Step 2: I suggest you to install the latest updates on your device, install them and check with the status of this issue.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

Try to access the videos on Internet Explorer and check if there is any issues.

No sound while playing audio and video files.

I appreciate if you could answer to a few questions to narrow down to the issue.

• Which is the application that you are using to play the files?
• Did you try the same on a different player?
• Did you perform any troubleshooting steps?

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to check if the volume is set low or in mute state in Volume Mixer.

• Right click on sound icon.
• Open Volume Mixer check for the application that you are playing the files with and increase the volume and check.

If the issue still persists, I would suggest you to run “Playing audio” troubleshooter to diagnose and fix the issue.

Follow these Steps to run Playing Audio Troubleshooter in Windows 10.

1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

2. Select Troubleshooting.

3. Select View all on the top left corner.

4. Click on Playing audio.

Buzzing sound and machine freezes while trying to play youtube

My machine ASUS X555L has recently upgraded its Windows 10 os. I'm now getting a buzzing sound and the machine freezes when looking at video.

Any suggestions for a solution. Initially thought it was the hard drive, but the machine works fine when no video is playing.
