My question is simple : What means "permanent" into the check option “Make all boot settings permanent” ?I suppose that this option means the configuration will remain until you change it by running again msconfig while if not checked it will be used just once. This should mean that when you start windows and for example you have set "selective startup" this option will become the default startup config.Later if you run msconfig you can change the services, enable or disable drivers etc. and finally when the system is stable you will have to change the main option to normal. Then "perm

Re: All boot options are tried...

    Hi Elda,

If the boot sequence didn't work, then we suggest try running the laptop in safe mode. To do this, here's a few steps to follow:

    • Power down your laptop.
    • Turn it back on again.
    • When you turn it back on, press F8 repeatedly until the power on option appeared.
    • If you see the boot option "Safe Mode with Networking", choose that option.
    • See if you can boot up in Safe mode.

We'll look forward to your response.

My question is simple : What means "permanent" into the check option “Make all boot...

Is uninstall of Win 10 as simple as...?

Sorry whs for all the questions but I'm confused.

To answer my post, No, uninstall of Windows 10 is not simple!*Confused

My PC dual boots fine. Both Windows 7 & Windows TR (10) are preforming very well. I'm not wanting to uninstall Windows TP yet, just preparing to make sure I do it correctly. Would this be the correct procedure?

    1. Set Windows 7 as default OS.
    2. Boot into Windows 7
    3. Start msconfig
    4. Select Windows Technical Preview & check Make all boot settings permanent
    5. Select OK to delete & exit System Configuration
    6. It may be required to reboot PC (not sure).
    7. After reboot or if reboot isn't required, go to Disk Management & delete Windows TP partition & add that space back to its original HDD

Is the above correct or what did I miss?

I do have my Windows 7 install DVD but not sure if anything else is needed if there's a problem. EasyBSD was suggested but why purchase software when I have the install DVD for repairs?
