    I can't run games in windows 10 because they always crash.

    I tried to play CS:GO and a couple other games but the executable has to compete with the kernel for RAM. I have 2 gb of RAM, 1.7 usable.

    Hardware Reserved RAM.

    hi all,

    I upgrade my window from 8.1 to window 10, and the usable ram only 3.2 GB.

    But recently i upgrade also my RAM to 8 GB, but the only maintenance on 3.2 GB usable , and the remaining go through the hardware reserved (4.8 GB)

    Anyway to solve this ??

    My guess would be that the .3gb is being used by the onboard graphics. Mine uses up about .8Gb of memory.

    Bunny is correct,(dedicated graphics) you wont get that back.

    Yep, it's true it's because you're running an APU, so a integrated graphics in your CPU chip.

    If you are not playing any demanding games, you can reduce this amount in BIOS. I would set it to 128MB or 64MB, even 32MB to keep as much as possible RAM for the system.
