Windows 10: My Realtek Audio doesn't sound very good.

When I use the default driver for sound, things sound like they have no bass. I scoured the internet and tried a lot of things. Updating the driver, uninstalling and installing, troubleshooting.I tried disabling audio enhancements and it worked, until I stopped whatever I was hearing and started it again. Then it just went back to sounding bassless despite the controller saying the enhancements were off. Right now I'm just using the High Definition Audio Device, which sounds good but doesn't detect the microphone in my headset.The thing goes this way. I play a video. It sounds bassless. I go t

Everyone that post ids, need just do these steps and you will be good. I kinda tired of keep on uploading the inf. file

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
additional if you want dts audio and others, install it now before next step.
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.

 

Sound Quality

One thing that sticks out from looking at your "My Computer" specs. You list "ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)" which suggests you do not have the correct sound hardware driver. Your motherboard has Realtek sound and the first step is to install the Realtek sound drivers. My ASUS also came with Sonic Studio 2 which is a sound enhancement package. Check the ASUS install disc to see if you have something similar.

May not be a speaker problem.

I had the realtek error when using the installer, so I did these step and It Worked

1.Go Open up device manager

10. Click Next and Yes
