    My recipe files are gone


    What the H... did Windows do?? I have a life time of recipes there. I can never get those back. Recipes are my heritage and I trusted Windows to preserve my personal files. I really can't believe Windows did this. P{lease Please PLEASSE FIX THIS egregious error in your judgement.


    and No don't tell me to go up a creek without a paddle. I really need an answer.

    Follow the instructions here.

    Remove "Ads By Desktop Recipe" virus (Removal Guide)

    If it is not listed in the Control Panel, or cannot be removed there, skip to Step 2. HitmanPro may not be needed.

    Recipe Keeper Pro

    You can reinstall it two ways.

    Option 1: Go to the following link then Get the app:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/recipe-...

    Option 2:

    Launch the Microsoft Store app on your Taskbar

    Click the ellipsis in the top right corner of the screen (...)

    Click My Library

    Scroll through the list then click the Recipe Keeper Pro app if its listed there, then click the download button.

    If doesn't help, let us know and we can explore more options.

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
