Windows 10: My regular slash key won't type, neither will it with on-screen keyboard

Hey, I own a Predator Laptop Helios 300, it's a little bit older, but just recently my normal slash key doesn't respond anymore, however it still works fine with shift to type the question mark, I have tried to restart my laptop, but that did not fix it either, I have attempted to use it with the on-screen keyboard, however that does not work either, I can use a German QWERTZ keyboard to use Shift 7 to type it or my num-pad, but I am confused as to why it won't work with my regular US Keyboard, I have attempted to do so with my other Keyboard layouts Japanese, Chinese - Simple, Chinese - Tr

Cannot get Forward OR Backward Slash to work in Windows 10

You are not able use forward slash key and backward slash key on your keyboard

Could you answer few questions:

• Have you made any recent changes on your computer prior to the issue?
• What is the make and model of the keyboard?
• Do you have problem with any other keys?

I would like you to use On screen keyboard and check.

Follow these steps:

• Press Windows key+W and type On Screen Key Board.
• Select Turn on screen Key Board on or off.
• Click on Start On Screen Key Board.

A new key board window will open up. Try to use that and check if it works.

How can I add backward slash when typing on my keyboard

Bring up the on-screen keyboard, do those slash keys work on that keyboard?

Open the Settings app, then go to Time and Language - Language and Region

Is the correct keyboard language set for your physical keyboard in the Preferred Languages section?

Step 1: You may check if the ALT key is functioning correctly in on-screen keyboard. It will help us to verify if there is any issue with the keyboard.

Follow the steps below to open On-screen Keyboard.

  Windows + Q, type OSK (on-screen keyboard)

  And check if it works
  

Step 2: Run Hardware and device Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your devices. Refer these steps:
