    My request to add the Karakalpak layout was not considered


    A week ago I created a request on the feedback hub 400+ votes to add the Karakalpak layout to Windows 10/11 and Microsoft has not yet given an answer. How long should I wait? Why does Microsoft treat its users this way?

    Request to Add Karakalpak Language Keyboard Layout to Windows 10/11

    Dear Microsoft Support Team,



    We are reaching out to request the addition of the Karakalpak language to the keyboard layout of Windows 10 and Windows 11. Currently, our users face challenges due to the absence of native support for the Karakalpak language, leading to inconveniences in their user experience.



    Our users resort to third-party programs and tools to install the Karakalpak keyboard layout. However, this process is not always smooth, and many individuals find it difficult to configure their systems independently.



    We have included files created using the Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator, adding the keyboard layout for the Karakalpak language in both Cyrillic and Latin alphabets. Additionally, we have included an image depicting the letter placement on the keyboard to facilitate the implementation and visualization of the proposed changes.



    Adding the Karakalpak language into the standard keyboard layouts of Windows 10 and Windows 11 would significantly enhance the user experience, eliminating the need for users to search for and install third-party programs.



    Your assistance in this matter will contribute to creating a more user-friendly and inclusive digital space for all Windows users.

    The Czech keyboard that is included in Windows Phone 8/8.1 is QWERTZ layout, not QWERTY. This is a common request and I suggest that you add your phone to the

    User Voice item for this request    . Microsoft uses the User Voice site to solicit suggestions and feature requests for their products.
