Windows 10: My reset was interrupted, PLEASE I NEED HELP!!!

Hello, i am asking this question about a windows 10 reset i started recently, basically, last night I reset my pc because the D drive wasn't showing up already tried everything for that when I reset it appears that my internet went out, so I had to select the local reinstall option, it took 3 hours and I couldn't see ANYTHING on screen and when I turned the screen on it was no signal, pretty sure that its normal, but I made a very dumb mistake and pressed Ctrl+Alt+Delete because I wanted to pull up the task manager, I realized a second late that that's not what it would do, but there wasn't anything i could do about it, it did a loud beep then stopped.


I left it overnight thinking it would be ok then woke up this morning and it still wasn't fixed, the pc was running, yet very quietly, yet the screen wouldn't turn on Yes, connections are perfectly fine I then pressed Ctrl+Alt+Delete again like a moron and it gave me the beep again, whenever i press Ctrl+Alt+Delete my pc starts to sound like its working again but it doesn't do anything and after a minute or two it quiets down again.


Please help? I need to get my pc working again, i don't know how though, because i cant see my screen at all, i cant wake it up, nothing like that, all i can do is shut it down and reboot it, but even then i cant see anything.

Help with Hardware Interrupts

To use Krview, ignore any driver that is part of Windows or that is for the CPU idle thread.
inteppm is for the CPU idle thread, ignore it.
hal and ntkrnlpa are part of Windows, ignore them.
ati2mtag is the first one on the list that is elevated and relevant.
Find out what hardware interrupt it uses and then any device that shares this interrupt could be the problem. It might not be ati2mtag.
If its the video driver, can you use another card?
Putting the computer to sleep might reset things.

 

How to factory reset Cisco 1700 Router

Hopefully I can help you here....its a very common thing to happen.


First, I take it you dont know the passwords for console access or telnet/ssh?

I will assume that these devices belong to you.

step 1. Plug a cisco console cable into a serial port on your pc
step 2. Plug other end into Cisco console port
step 3. Using hyperterm or putty or similar connect to the serial port
step 4. boot router, and make sure you clearly can see the output (this confirms you have good serial comms)
step 5. if this fails, adjust the comm port settings (9600, 8,1,n are the default)
step 6. now you have to do the only hard part...send the break command:

Break command list: Break Commands

Go down the list and match your OS and SW and try the sequence suggested.

If this fails several times do what I do: Install putty (free) and then to send a break so you can get into rommom just hit "ctrl-a b".
