Windows 10: my rundll32 stopped working on windows 11

My rundll32 program stopped working on windows 11. What happens is my printer won't work with pdf files but will print other items, i.e. from word, etc.

Rundll32 has stopped working while using WMDC

The first link tells about the step by step detailed procedure of installing and connecting the device with windows PC. As I mentioned that when I Connect my device using cable and Start WMDC from start menu then only as dialog box of connection settings appears
which states Device connected and after few seconds an error occurs stating that Rundll32 host process has stopped working, I think this error comes when WMDC console tries to start itself and due to this error, it can't be started.



The second link points to the thread but none of the users is facing Rundll32 error as I am. I have tried the steps stating in the thred already but to no avail. What does Rundll32 to deal with WMDC. Its the process which is responsible for starting and
uploading the required dll files for the software we are using. Please suggest where is the problem, is my WMDC corrupt (I have also tried re-installing it though)? or there is a compatibility issue with Windows Vista SP2? I also posted a somwhat identical
thread previously about rundll32 but couldn't get answer from microsoft or any user. Previously I was facing same issue with the software DynDNS Updator. I had to stop working with that software as my problem didn't solve. Please help

When I try to connect my HTC P3400i a windows mobile 6 device, and start windows mobile device center, a dialog box(Connection Settings) apears showing my device is connected successfully, when i press OK nothing happens, I want to sync my contacts on device
with microsoft outlook. After few seconds a popup opens which says Rundll32 host process has stopped working, and in details it shows APPCRASH rundll32. It never worked for me since when i am using windows vista sp2 fully updated. When I connect my device
on windows XP machine with Active Sync, it works perfectly and able to sync everything with my device. I have tried adding rundll32 from c:/windows/system32/rundll32.exe to Windows Vista's Data Execution Prevention list, i.e. I ve stopped DEP for rundll32
but still it crashes and I am unable to start Windows Mobile Device Center. I am able to see my device in My Computer and able to access its file from starage card and InBuilt memory. Please suggest what to do. I thing its a problem with Windows Vista as my
device works perfectly with Windows XP machine with Active Sync on it. I have tried updating WMDC, tried hard resetting my device, tried changing the usb cable, tried changing the usb port, tries re-installing windows Vista. Please help ASAP as i need to backup
my contacts and mails on my device. I have tried searching on google but could never find a solution for this.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Explorer.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter
