    Hi, in regards to this issue, I've been trying to figure out ways to disable the safe search on my computer, which is locked on strict. I've tried changing my browser from Microsoft Bing, to Microsoft edge, to Google, and to Duck Duck Go, all of these browsers have the same thing, a strict safe search with no option to turn it off. Then also when I try to click into certain links, it forces me to send a request to a family group administrator, which I previouslyleft another family group I didn't know I was apart of until yesterday. Now I'm the only member in such Microsoft family group, except

    Is there any Browser locking software to lock down browsers?

    I did try that, it only locks the password manager as far as I can tell, there are no settings to keep the browser itself from opening and being used. So I'm not sure what the article is explaining.

    Safe Search set to strict in Internet Explorer

    Hello Narayan,

    I suggest you to follow the steps below on how to change your Bing Safe Search settings:

    Go to
    Weiße Berge in weiter Ferne!


    • Click the Gear (Preferences) icon towards the top right side of the page.

    • In the SafeSearch section, select your desired setting:

    • Strict – Filter adult text, images and videos from your search results.

    • Moderate – Filter adult images and videos but not text from your search results.

    • Off – Don’t filter adult content from your search results.

    • Click Save
