My samsung ml 1865w printer always shut down whenever I send document for printing. What is the possible causes

Samsung Printer ML 2010 and Window 10

When I upgraded to Windows 10 my Samsung ML-2010 initially worked fine. However, after upgrading the driver to "Samsung Universal Print Driver 3" (via the Windows 10 recommendation) my 2010 lost the ability for duplex printing, selecting "toner save" via
software, and turned it into a basic printer. Samsung Canada help chat suggested I wait for a new driver, but I'm not holding my breath.

In short, if your ML-2010 is currently working OK do NOT install the "Universal Print Driver 3" for Windows 10, or your printer will lose some functionality.

 

Shared printer print blank pages


I have a client using a Samsung ML-1865W series laser printer connected via USB to his Windows 7 machine. The printer is shared and a Windows 10 based PC prints via the share to the printer. Problem is that when printing from the Windows 10 machine every pages that print is blank. It prints perfectly from the Windows 7 machine.

Have removed and reinstalled the printer many times with no success, trying different drivers and setups.

Any ideas please.

 

Installing the Samsung ML-1210 printer driver on Windows 10

My Samsung ML-1210 printer worked with Windows 8.1 but after I installed Windows 10 the printer was not an installed printer and I haven't been able to get Windows 10 to recognize the printer so that I can print documents.
