Windows 10: My Samsung monitors connected via Bonelk 9 into 1 multiport adaptor are not working...

I have been using 2 Samsung monitors connected via usb c through a Bonelk multiport adaptor with my Surface Pro 7. I have run this setup for over a year and now suddenly they are not working anymore. Other accessories connected via the multiport adaptor wireless mouse/keyboard work and connecting these monitors individually via HDMI to Usb-c adaptor works fine. The multiport adaptor works fine with another laptop. Tried updating windows, uninstalling display and usb drivers but no luck

I would suggest you try an adaptor of some kind for you monitor to connect to your GPU.

I have two Samsung SyncMaster S20B300 which have a DVI/VGA ports...my new GTX 1060 has 1 DVI port and 1 HDMI port and 3 display ports. So I had to get a DVI to DP adaptor and it works flawlessly. As the GPU doesn't recommend using a VGA adaptor.

 

My Bonelk PC-Dock is not recognised in my display settings through USB-C port. Has anyone experienced this?

What happens if you disconnect your current, (working), monitor and connect the working cable to the second monitor? make this connection direct without any adaptors if possible.

If this gives a picture try the other DVI to DVI connection on the (currently working ), monitor. it is also worth checking if the working monitor works with the other DVI to the one currently plugged into

I suggest this to

1. check the old monitor is working or not
2. Sometimes the two DVI connectors on a Card are different sub-types, (DVI-I and DVI-D), and the older monitor may not be compatible with the Newer port type.
3. Check that both ports work, ( if the one DVI port does not work with the currently working monitor then it is possible that the card is at fault)
