Windows 10: My screen flashes black when i right click on my desktop windows 10 after 1903 Windows Update.

this is a repeated issue posted about windows. Suggested fixes have uniformly failed, sending users in different directions such as looking for updated drivers (non exist), deleting files in registry (that predate update and show no related modifications) and others.


I would like to be directed to the shell or other program that controls the desktop along with a fix. Right clicking on the desktop previously included the video drivers, file explorer and other handy material

Windows 7 black screen of death

I read a report a little while ago that said the black screens were nothing to do with updates but due to a malicious program (it hit more than just windows 7 users - vista, xp and 2000 were also prone to the black startup screen of death if infected). My windows 7 install is fully up-to-date and i've never had the black startup screen.

Just run some decent anti virus and you should be safe (i suggest microsoft security essentails since it's free and pretty decent). When you've installed an anti-virus i'd suggest doing a full scen to be sure there's nothing there.

 

Windows 10 "Bubbles" Screen Saver

On Windows 7 the screen saver didn't go to a black screen but it showed the desktop. Not getting that with Windows 10. Whats the deal? Have GTX750Ti
