    Hi,I am currently on Windows 10 VERSION 20H2 for HP LaptopIntel CORE i5 processor, 8th Gen. It was all good until one day suddenly my laptop started to misbehave. My touchpad started to hang and my display started to flickerDialogue boxes coming and going whenever I try to open anyexcept the task manager.It is itself opening tons of dialogue boxes at once or not opening anything at allonly flickering or typing things without me giving the command for the same. Troubleshoots which I tried :1 Tried updating my touchpad driver to the latest version, it is a Synaptics SMBus touchpad, didn

    I haven't made any changes on my device. This screen flickering is only happening in Safe Mode.

    Hi Yasmeentq,

    I understand your query. I suggest you to follow the steps to get out of safe mode.


    • Press Windows key + R

    • Type msconfig

    • In msconfig > Boot tab >
      Boot Options > uncheck Safe Boot > APPLY / OK.
