    My screen freezes after installing the latest driver


    Recently I have been having issues related to m display adapters, this never happened before and read everywhere regarding the issue but there seems to be no website or video related to it. Well, the issue is after installing the latest driver for my display adapters, for some reason my screen freezes a split second after a few seconds. And continuously going on at this I am sick of it, I factory reset my entire computer and still seems to happen. Keep in mind I rolled back the driver, and this is an old computer. My PC is the Pavilion 23 all in one. We got this computer roughly 10 years ago or so. I am so confused on why this is happening I tried many ways of the HP virtual assistant advised me to do, all of the solutions it provided didn't solve my issue. It would mean a lot to find a solution.

    GPU: Microsoft Basic Display Adapter After updating AMD Radeon HD8400/R3 Series
    CPU: AMD A5-5200 APU with RadeonTM HD Graphics
    Memory: 7 GB
    Current resolution 1920x1080
    GPU driver version: 10.018362.1
    Operating system: Microsft Windows 10 Home 64-bit

    What Drivers To Install

    Even though I purchased Windows 7 about two weeks ago, I have not installed it yet. I just want to make sure I install all of the correct things. So, I should have to install
    • latest Intel Chipset Driver
    • latest Intel Matrix Storage Manager (is this the only RAID thing I have to install?)
    • latest Soundmax ADI Audio Driver
    • latest Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet Driver
    • latest Marvell SATA driver
    • latest ATI CCC and Driver
    • Windows 7 should install the hyperthreading driver by itself right? Vista did.

    Windows Vista Wont Install Freezes?

    had the same problem, freezes and long installation including each step loading, in my case a bios update helped.

    Latest Windows 10 Doesn't Fit to Screen latest nVidia driver NVS3100M 9.18.13.4192 on Dell E6410 Laptop

    Hello,

    I request you to try uninstalling and reinstalling the latest Graphics Card Drivers.

    Step 1: Uninstall the Graphics Card
    Drivers


    • Right click on the Start menu.

    • Click on “Device Manager” from that list.

    • Search for the Graphics Card
      from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers
      from the computer.

    • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and then restart the computer if prompted.
    After the restart, please go ahead with the next steps to install the latest drivers and check if that resolves the issue.



    Step 2: Go to the Computer or Graphics Card
    manufacturer’s website and search for the latest Windows 10 drivers available for the
    Graphics Card model and then install it by following the instructions given in the website.
