    My screen glitches out when opening certain games, and stays like that, how do i fix it?


    I just got windows 11 and when i open certain games, the screen gets glitchy as if its broken. Sometimes it just flickers, but for The Sims 4 specifically it stays like this. It may be the monitor but if there is anything i should try please let me know.

    glitching screen and glitching videos

    Hello,

    Recently my laptop screen started to freckle\glitch while playing videos either on the internet or on my laptop so I followed steps suggested as to uninstall and re-install the graphics update however, it happened again not so long after I did that (1 day later) and I fixed the display and so it stopped but the videos appear to be glitched? like I could see the RGB (there is a color stroke that appears ONLY while watching videos and I tried to take a screenshot and while trying to trim the photo I found it looking normal so it's only via videos

    I'm using HP ENVY Laptop - DESKTOP -LUQEG7V

    Using the Windows key to click apps/windows from taskbar won't stay on screen

    Hi Greg,

    I'm trying to open apps/windows by just clicking on them from the taskbar. I am still getting this glitch or error where whichever app I want to open, say File Explorer, will quickly flash on the screen then disappear. I can see it is open on the taskbar but not on my screen, this only happens when I have another program or game using Fullscreen. The only way I can keep an app/window open is if I Alt-tab it, then it will stay on screen instead of disappearing.

    I have tried some of the steps you have listed but the problem persists, I haven't made a system restore point for my PC so I can't do that step.

    Game DVR Glitched recording

    I have tried all your steps and these are the results

    1. That link doesn't mention my problem troubleshooted. my recording didn't stop but it glitches.

    2. My shortcut keys are working and it still records when in windowed mode and also in fullscreen mode.

    3. I have previously visited task manager and closed and restarted the task but no use. Still glitched

    4. Deleted temporary files and folders from settings but no use. Still glitched.

    5. Have no need to change the shortcut keys. they all work fine in windowed and in fullscreen mode.

    6. My graphics card drivers are updated and they worked fine previously, before the issue.

    I will really appreciate if you send me more suggestions so that this complex issue may be resolved. Please dont forget my issue. Please Microsoft! I am sure we will get this issue to a close. I am sure you will!! Game DVR is my only affordable game-recording
    software and it was pretty great before too. PLEASE DONT LET ME DOWN.

    my screen glitches out when i play some games and then my cursor just glitches out too: i cant show a picture because when i play the game it only happens when my screen is directly at the gameplay. if i open up a menu or exit out of the game it goes to normal so i cant really get a picture of it. but it just glitches out my screen like crazy....
