Windows 10: My screen goes black and my pc is unresponsive when playing games.

Hi, so I ran into this recent problem while playing one of my games, Baldurs Gate 3. Recently when I play the game my screen goes black and then disconnects from my monitor. I cannot hear any sounds, and the PC seems generally unresponsive. I have only gotten it to work again by shutting down the computer forcefully and turning it back on. As a result of a forced shutdown, the GPU driver sometimes becomes unresponsive. As a result of this one time my PC booted using the CPU's onboard graphics and I had to uninstall and reinstall the GPU drivers. I have reinstalled the game, reinstalled my GPU

Black Screen While Playing A Game.

Hello, My pc is experiencing a problems these 5 days, which is a 'black screen' while playing a game the whole screen goes black, and the only cure to this is to restart pc, but it still goes black when I play a game again. [behind the black screen there
is still playing the audio, and there is no cursor]. I want to find out whats the problem.

Yes, this is a known issue, but it seems to be different. I play this old game that's from 2003, but it's got a massive modding community still. It's called Street Legal Racing Redline. Anyhow, whenever I start it up in full screen, it freezes up on a black screen and becomes unresponsive. On top of that it doesn't let me turn it off with task manager, meaning that I need to restart my computer to turn it off. Although, if I change a setting and start the game in windowed mode, it plays completely fine.

I would play in windowed mode but I need it to be full screen, otherwise there's this thing that doesn't work properly. I tried compatability modes, but to no avail.

EDIT: I know people who are playing this game on Windows 10 and they are not experiencing this issue. It's something from my end.

• From where are you trying to play the video games (downloaded/ from website)?
• If you are playing games from website which browser are you using?
• Were you able to see any error code/ error message when the game crashes?
• Are you able log-in to your computer?

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ outdated display drivers.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on

• Try to install the updates being shown.
