Windows 10: My screen goes black when the colour blue comes on screen. Anyone know what the cause could be?

I have a gaming laptop from PC Specialist that I’m having an issue with. My display is 144hz and when I first got it I could have the display on 144hz but now it flashes constantly and goes off, so I’ve been having to use it in 60hz. That was fine for a while but now it has developed a fault where my screen HATES the colour blue. For example, I’ll be playing rocket league and whenever I go onto the blue side of the field my screen will flash on and off and eventually go completely black.I have updated all drivers, I’m running the latest version of BIOS, I’ve researched every possible cause and

Screen goes blue / black on start of atitool

i tried 0.26 and the new beta but its the same... if i start atitool the screen immidiately goes blue or black and i have to reboot... the computer doesnt really hang but the screen seems to be lost.
any suggestions? i dont have any other programs running, i dont even want to OC my card i just want to have control over the fan speed, i have a x1800xt btw.
