Windows 10: My screen keeps dimming depending on content

Hi, my desktop PC keeps auto-dimming during various activities such as browsing YouTube, watching a movie or going through folders. During bright parts or movies etc, it brightens up but during dark parts it dims automatically. I have amd adrenaline and a 7800xt installed. My TV has all adaptive options switched off. There is no display brightness option in advanced power options. I can't create my own plan to make it available either. It is incredibly annoying and need it switched off please. Thank you, Dave

Windows 10 laptop changes brightness depending on the screen contents

I have a Dell XPS 13 (9350) running Windows 10 and I can't seem to disable the automatic brightness changing depending on what's on the screen. If the screen is primarily light the brightness will go up, and when it's primarily dark it'll dim. I'm having the same issue as outlined in these posts:

• My laptop's screen dims when there's dark content. Dell, Intel, Windows 10
  

but none of the solutions given worked for me. In my Intel HD Graphics control panel there is no "Display Power Saving Technology" option, nor are there "On Battery" or "Plugged In" tabs in the power section. This problem persists on both battery and AC.

I am willing to reinstall drivers but I am not willing to reinstall Windows. I am also familiar with the command prompt and registry editor.

Screen keeps dimming

Hey,

I have a predator helios 300 laptop (G3-571-77QK)

The screen dims depending on the colors on my screen. Example... I open a website whose home screen is dark colors, and my entire screen dims. I've tried to turn off night light, adaptive brightness... Nothing works.
I want it off so I don't have to keep readjusting my brightness.
