    My screen keeps going black while gaming but i can still hear audio


    started about a week ago, where the screen will go black whilst gaming at random interavals but i can still hear audio. sometimes itll restart on its own and sometimes i will have to restart the computer from the on/off button. i have monitored CPU and GPU temps, GPU core temps never go above 80 and CPU temps never go above 70 so i dont think its an overheating issue.i have updated the drivers to the latest version 546.01 and then even tried going backwards to the last one before these issues started 545.92. i also tried uninstalling the drivers from the control paneli also tired updating

    We will need some more information to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please reply with the following details:



    • How are you recording the games or videos?
    • When you say, “I can't hear anything” you are unable to get the in-game audio or your voice?
    • What is the make and model of the computer?
    • Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
      winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
      Enter.


    If you are using Game bar to record the games or videos, I suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below:



    1. Press Windows key + I to open
      Settings.
    2. Click on Gaming.
    3. Click on Capture on the left pane.
    4. Clear the check box for Record gaming audio only.
    5. Follow the same steps for Broadcasting.


    Please reply with the status of the issue, we will be glad to help you further.

    My screen keeps going black while gaming but i can still hear audio

    Screen turns black while playing game can still hear audio though, have to reset pc or it'll be stuck on the black screen

    It started while I was playing a game. My screen went black but I could still hear my friends in discord and the game audio and youtube in the background.

    I waited a while to see if just the game simply crashed but my monitor never turned back on so I had to restart my pc.
