Windows 10: My screen stay black when I open my computer. Even in safe mode, or recovery mode.

Hello,I'm at the end of my rope, my cimputer started to open on a black screen with only the arrow showing, it didn't do it all the time at first and I tried to follow many of the instruction but more bugs seemed to add on.At first it was a temporary black screen, eventually I could do things. But then, I realise I couldn't change the language of my keyboard without it making my computer froze for a moment. Then I couldn't acces the search in my windows menu the computer menu like it won't let me type in the search bar. Then the system setting would forever stay on the setting logo.So I went

Black Screen in Safe Mode

I'm trying to start my Win 10 VM but am getting a black screen with a cursor after it logs in so after looking for solutions online, there is a suggestion to remove the display drivers by using safe mode. The problem is, safe mode also has a black screen!! Are there any solutions to this? I have tried repairing, troubleshooting, restore etc from an ISO without success. Windows is present in some form or another as it responds to ctrl-alt-del and provides me with the usual menu for Task Manager but when you select this, the Task Manager does not show and you are left with the same black screen as before!! Anyone have any experience of this before? Thanks

 

Cannot Enter Safe Mode / Computer boots normally

I'm running Win 10 Pro 1903.

Here are the steps I have taken to get into safe mode: Start button, settings, update and security, recovery, advanced startup, troubleshoot, advanced options, startup settings, restart. The computer boots normally, not in safe mode. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks in advance for your help and interest. .

 

Black screen even in safe mode

I'm getting a black screen with cursor after login, Windows 10. Ctrl-alt-delete shows options but choosing task manager reverts to black screen. Can enter safe mode but same issue with black screen/no task manager. Suspect display drivers may be a factor
but cant find any way to disable them. Have tried recovery mode options including uninstall updates (couldn't, encountered a problem), system restore (couldn't), start-up repair (no difference). Any suggestions appreciated.
