    My two keys at the side of my mousea gaming mouse used to control the go back and go forward options. Now it's not doing that like it used to do. I tried unplugging and replugging the mouse but it did not work. My mouse does not seem to have a DPI button, and it has been replaced by a plus and minus key. maybe it is a fake But the fact is, it used to work until recently. My mouse had fallen and was dangling and all. Oh, and it randomly mutes by itself too. Usually when I press the scroll wheel, I used to be able to use the auto-scroll option but now it just pauses whatever is playing. Wh

    Hi Nobby,

    Check near the scrolling wheel is there a dpi button?

    The button can also be used to switch between normal and media mode by holding it for 3 seconds

    When your mouse is in Media Mode the wheel controls the volume and does not scroll documents . ..

    Hi Feliks,

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    On your mouse, look beside the scroll wheel, is there a tiny media or DPI button?

    If there is, press and hold that button for a 3 - 5 seconds and that should change the scroll wheel back to the scrolling action.

    There can be numerous causes of the issue that you're having with your mouse scroll wheel speed such as outdated drivers, dirt, damaged cables, and more. To correct such issue, we suggest that you adjust the scroll speed of your mouse wheel using the steps
    below:

    • Click Start > Settings.
    • Go to Devices > Mouse & touchpad.
    • Under Choose how many lines to scroll each time, move the slider to the right to make the speed of your mouse wheel faster.
