Windows 10: My Seagate External Storage will not connect to my laptop.

After numerous attempts, and cleaning both ends of the ports, my computer doesn't recognize the device. I bought it to use for both Xbox and Windows. It works on my Xbox, however, my Windows laptop will not recognize it.

External Seagate Drive not appearing after Creators Update

We appreciate the feedback, Pete. Getting in touch with Seagate support is one of your options. They may have recent or updated drivers for your external hard drive. In the meantime, since the hard drive is detected again when you unplug and replug it, we
suggest that you try changing the drive letter and its path and see if it addresses the issue. Follow the steps below:

• Right-click the Windows key and click Computer Management.
• Under Storage, click Disk Management.
• Find your Seagate External Hard Drive, right-click it and select
  Change Drive Letter and Paths.
• Click on Change and select the letter for the drive.
• Click OK, close all windows, then restart your computer.

Can't connect 4TB Seagate External HD to Windows 10 HP Envy laptop

Hello! I recently purchased an HP Envy x360 laptop and tried to connect my Seagate 4TB Hard Drive. While it connects and I can see that there's a drive connected when I go into the drives menu, it doesn't list the name of the drive nor can I see what's inside
it. All the laptop will tell me is that it's working fine. NOTE: This external hard drive has video files from a digital camera that I loaded onto my old mac computer and onto this hard drive. I don't remember if when I formatted the Seagate on my old Mac
if I formatted it for both Mac and Windows operating systems.

ALL HELP IS NEEDED AND APPRECIATED!
