Windows 10: My Seasonic TX-750W tripped breaker or it was halogen bulb in bathroom

Pc was on idle and monitor was on. Other devices like tv,washer off. So not circuit overload. 2 weeks ago something tripped 2 small circuit breakers . All electricity lights and sockets went down .Then.......i go to bathroom and saw that one of 3 halogen bulbs no lightning. So one bulb get burned.

What tripped breaker?

Halogen Bulb or Seasonic psu of my pc?

Like i said pc working normally after that outage.But i am worried about my psu. Thx for helping me. I am not cooled down<lol>.

How do I stop tripping the circuit breaker.

If I read this right, the tripping circuit breaker is 15 amps (1800 watts). That means a 15 amp breaker needs maybe 22 to 30 amps for 30 seconds to trip. Or it needs 20 amps for 100 seconds to 6 minutes to trip. Conventional breakers do not trip due to spikes such as a power supply power on. Minor current increases can only trip a breaker (as described) if the circuit is already dangerously overloaded.

How does an excessive ampere or two trip a breaker? Existing current must be well above 15 amps. I did not see where the breaker was defined by type or part numbers - essential facts. Is it a conventional breaker? To have your symptoms implies a tripping breaker is not. What exactly is the breaker (which means hard facts such as part number)? Currently, your conclusions (including a suspected defective power strip) imply a defect elsewhere. Did not suggest a defective breaker. Did imply the breaker is not being tripped by excessive current.

If a power strip is defective, then (for example) it also trips GFCIs in the kitchen or bathroom when some load (ie a few 100 watt light bulbs) are temporarily power cycled through that power strip and GFCI.

 

Breaker keeps tripping...

The PSU might have died. Try taking the PSU out of the PC, and plugging the PSU in. If it still trips the breaker then you know it is the PSU causing the issue.

If it doesn't trip the breaker just by plugging the PSU in try turning it on. You can take a paperclip and jump the green wire on the 24-pin connector to one of the black wires, that will turn the PSU on without needing it to be connected to a PC. If the PSU turns on then the problem is somewhere in your PC, if the PSU alone trips the breaker then you know it is the PSU and cross your fingers it didn't fry anything else.

 

Electric meter breaker trips

There is a 200 amp circuit breaker outside with the power company's meter that keeps tripping. There is a 200 main amp breaker on the control board inside the house as well, but does not trip when the outside does. Could some one explain to me why this is happening and if the electric company is responsable for replacing this outside circuit breaker or me?
