Windows 10: My second Router the Ethernet is capped at 100mbps HELPPPP

hello, i have been looking for weeks now to try and fix this? no luck? i see people saying it may be bad wires but mine are all cat 6 i had all mine done off the same reel of wire too, now the one going from my virgin media hub into my second router, when i put that into my xbox upstairs or my laptop direct i get 257mbps thats how i know its not bad wiring. when i connect it into my new router as a access point and use that as a wireless point and to branch mulitpul Ethernets into my bedroom it then everything coming out of my second router get capped at 100mbps i dont think my lan ports are capped because it gives me a option of 1gbps any ideas? il post a photo too of what im looking at:

Can I connect to my ISP@200mbps through ethernet cable when I have a TAP-Windows Adapter V9 card installed which shows 100mbps as it's speed?

I have recently bought a new laptop and have a 200mbps internet line installed. My issue is this. When I plug the ethernet cable from the router into my laptop and run a speedtest, the max I am getting is less than 100mbps, (usually around 93-95mbpsDL).

I then remove the ethernet cable and run the speedtest over the wifi and am hitting 200mbps, which is great.

The status of my Ethernet 3 adaptor lists 100mbps. Yet this is a top spec brand new laptop (07/2016). Am I right then in thinking that almost all new laptops shipped have 100mbps max DL speed limit?? And therefore any fast connection over an ethernet is just
wasted??

If so, this seems very odd to me. Can anyone help with this?

Router dropping from 1000mbps to 100mbps

So these three devices are connected at 100mbps instead of 1000, and now they're not getting IP addresses?

Have you accidentally turned modem mode on or off or something? You'll need to log into the router to sort your settings out (hopefully you know how to do this or we're basically doomed).

• First thing to do is stick a pin into the reset button, then we can rule out "turn it off and on again".
• Check you didn't play with Modem mode in the router settings
• Test these three machines with different cables - perhaps plug one into the PS4's port instead, or plug it in with the PS4's cable
  
• Test the PS4 plugged into the ports that don't appear to work properly - see if the issue follows the ports, the cable, or the device.

Virgin SuperHub 2's aren't crappy routers. They're budget domestic user routers, but by no means $10 crap.

No. You need a ethernet cable run from the first router/modem to the second router. You can use powerline networking, but that isn't nearly as fast as an actual ethernet cable, and sometime isn't even as fast as wireless.
