Windows 10: My settings are closing as soon as I open them?

When I go to open my settings close on startup I have restated my computer multiple times.

hi, my settings app in windows 11 opens but then quickly closes. i have tried all the suggested ways of opening the setting app and in all instances the settings app opens but then quickly goes away. please assist

I have problem only with "settings". I am able to click open all other listed apps and functions. My windows was all updated just before Windows 10 installation started.

I am working on other steps that you suggested above. Will let you know the outcome soon.

I suggest you to try the below troubleshooting steps and check:

• Press CTRL+Shift+ESC, to open the Task manager.
• Click File > Run New Task.
• Make sure you have a check mark beside “Create this task with administrative privileges” Type
  Powershell.
• Type the following in the Powershell prompt:

$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore).InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml'; Add- AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest

5. Close the Powershell window

6. Reboot/Restart the computer.
