Windows 10: My Settings won't show my Windows Update.

I'm trying to customize my desktop display, so I tried downloading Translucent TB on the Microsoft Store. It showed up as Error, and when I checked 'see details', it told me that my Windows Update is disabled. I went to go enable my Windows Update yet nothing is showing up. I waited for almost an hour yet it still won't load. I restarted my laptop several times, even tried it on my family computer to no avail. How do I fix this?

Windows updates won't install!

I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.

Store Settings "Update apps automatically" won`t stay switched off. WHY?

The possible reason why Update apps automatically turn back on is that the Store app is running in the background. We suggest that you turn off the Store app. This way, it won't receive any updates or send notifications unless opened or turned on
manually.

To turn off Store app, follow these steps:

• Click the Windows logo, then go to Settings.
• Click Privacy, then Background apps.
  
• On the list, locate Store and toggle it off.
