    My shift fn f10 key won’t work when trying to access command prompt


    I booted windows 11 on usb and it says the pc restarted unexpectedly I know how to fix this issue but when I try to open the command prompt it doesn’t work but when I press okay to reset my pc the command prompt pops up for a second before my pc resets

    No, it didn't work. Your latest suggestion leaves me to believe that you might be mistaken with what I am trying to do. The windows 11 has an Arm 64 structure that I am trying to load into a virtual machine and while this is happening, I cannot access anything except the windows prompt command trying to use the shift + fn +F10 which now has also failed. So, for now I've canned this little adventure. Thanks, and with regards, Robert.

    Shift +F10 not working.

    Hi Robert,

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    I am not that familiar with the Mac keyboard, but on a PC, if Shift + F10 does not work, Shift + Fn + F10 does work, is there any key on your keyboard to switch the actions on the function keys (F1 - F12)?

    Hi YuvalAs

    Shift + F10 should bring up Command Prompt at the start of the Installation process, if that does not work for you, try Shift + Fn + F10 . . .
