Windows 10: My SIM card shows on my laptop but it keeps telling me No Service

    I have o2micro oz776 card reader..Can i use sim card in it?

    What's the make/model of your laptop?

    AFAIK .....SIM cards are completely different then SD cards. A SIM card is for activating a mobile service and a SD card is for storage. Since this is a laptop that uses wifi.....I doubt that it has a slot for a SIM card for a mobile service.

    sim card contacts

    Hi,

    Follow the steps below to import your contacts from the SIM card.

    To import contacts from a SIM card

    • On Start, tap People.

    • Tap More
      My SIM card shows on my laptop but it keeps telling me No Service basic-icon-ellipses.png
      , and then tap Settings.

    • Tap Import SIM contacts and follow the instructions.

      Note that a copy of your contacts will remain on the card.
