Windows 10: My snip&sketch shortcut keeps disabling

after i use it when i open my computer, when i use windows+shift+s it wont work anymore and it wont even work in the app either when i press snip

How to disable Snip & Sketch assigned shortcut?

I want to get rid of the shortcut I assigned to Snip & Sketch. I accidentally/lazily assigned it to Shift + M without thinking and now it really annoys me. I am using Windows 10. I tried using services.msc but there is no mention of Snip & Sketch whatsoever.
If there is no way to do this then could you possibly provide a way to disable Snip & Sketch entirely?

Did you set the shortcut via file properties settings? if yes right click on snip and sketch then click on open file location in the folder that appears right click on snip and sketch shortcut and click on file properties

under shortcut tab remove the shortcut assigned and type in None.

Click apply and ok.

** you can always delete/install snip and sketch from settings/apps as this is a simple Microsoft store app

 

Sketch and Snip

As we are working as a IT support for the secure project, we need to disable the sketch and snip in windows 10 20h2 as well as in 21h2.

We have tried to add the registry keys for DisabledHotKeys as well as NoWinKeys, and we have turned off the hotkeys from the gpedit.msc.

But it is helping to disable the hotkeys only but not the sketch and snip. There are different ways to open the sketch and snip.

1) If we disabled the hotkeys, we are able to open the sketch and snip from start.

2) We are able to open the sketch and snip from the quick actions which is inside the notification bar.

3) We are able to open the sketch and snip by using the command explorer ms-screenclip:

Please suggest here to disable or remove the sketch and snip completely from the Windows 10.
