    My son is bypassing family safety limits


    He is using his laptop right now and has been for the past week of holiday time. There is no data to show his usage and I previously blocked Roblox which he has been playing like a fiend. I have set it to 1hr Sat/Sun but he played 2 hours today.I attach a screenshot further down.Using the Family Safety app or logging into my Windows PC and using Family Safety there, I have already:Removed and re-added app limitsRemoved and added him back to the family groupRemoved all VPNs that were lurking in his Programs & FeaturesChanged my admin password for the admin account on his laptop and ensured

    Windows 10 Family Safety Screen Time Bypass

    windows 10 family safety is ****.

    My son found a way to bypass EVERYTHING and able to TURN OFF EVERY SINGLE setting in 10 min... and he does not even have any of the password.

    This windows 10 Family Safety is a joke. completely useless.... whoever led the family safety team project manager and the team should be fired..

    Windows 10 and family safety

    I am using Windows 10 and family safety to set time and site restrictions.

    My son found a way to bypass the screen time limit by switching to a local account instead of the assigned Microsoft account. Then he installs Goggle Chrome to get around the web filtering.

    Can some one share their experience / suggestion on how to plug these holes.

    Family Safety login block bypass

    Hello Robelene, Sorry for the late replay, I was on a business trip with no access to the family pc.

    I am not sure I understood your instructions. I try to explain what I did and I kindly ask you to be a bit more detailed.

    My family has three members: me (adult), my son (child) and my daughter (child). On the "Family & Other People" under "Settings" I set my son account as "Can sign in" and account type "Standard". My daughter is set as "can't sign in"

    When you ask me to try to remove and re-add my son's account:

    • I went to the Family Safety web site and I deleted my son.
    • I returned on the "Family & Other People" under "Settings" of the pc and I saw my son account was not display any more.
    • I restarted the PC
    • I went again on the Family Safety web site and I added my son account
    • I confirm the addition in the email
    • I returned on the "Family & Other People" under "Settings" and I saw his account listed there
    • I set it as "Can sign in"
    • I tried but no results bug is still there.
    Is this what you expected me to do?
