Windows 10: My special characters are not working.

I have installed both french and spanish keyboards but somehow it is not possible to do a trema above letters or use the wave spanishn or a single accent on an e etc.. I have checked with my on screenkey board and my ctrl are both being registered when used. However, when I try to do a combination of ctrl + ' and then e , I don't get an accent on the letter. I have a Lenovo ideapad 530S and haven't figured out how to fix the problem for over a view months. I hope someone knows how to resolve this. Thanks in advance


I have already tried to update the driver for the keyboard as well.

Special characters

I say little wrongly it as fault, its more feature. Normal characters are 7-bit and special characters are 8/16-bit long. So more you use special characters, shorter the message can be.

May i know what are teh special characters that your are trying to type on your message editor?

Could you please provide the detailed list or the combination of keys being pressed.?
