    My start menu won't pop up when I click it and apps are missing


    I was trying to fix a problem with my computer password not working and found a solution which was to go into safe mode and then restart the computer from the start menu but when I click it nothing happens the menu won't pop up the only things that work on the tool bar are the apps and most of them are gone I only has Microsoft edge and file explorer and I can't get Internet access and sometimes it shows the message "you'll need to have a app to run the contact-support-link" or something along those lines it isn't always there so I can't get it 100% correct but please someone tell me what to d
