    Thanks for all your help, but I have given up. When I went to the ATI Radeon site, it suggested I should revert to an earlier Windows 10. It sounds to me like one of those things that will get me deeper and deeper in trouble, and I think I am better off
    to live with the smaller screen and distorted imagines. The information is just too hard for me to understand - when I learned about computers, we were using machine or assembly language.

    Thanks again for trying. It is sad that Microsoft would apparently disregard computers that are only 7 years old.

    Thank you for the information, Roland. Upon seeing the screenshots, we noticed that your computer is using a basic display driver. This can be the reason why the resolution of your screen is different. We recommend that you check the graphics driver in Device
    Manager to see if it is working properly. To do this, follow these steps:

    • Right-click to Windows logo (Start button).
    • Choose Device Manager.
    • Expand Display adapters.
    • Check for your graphics driver and right-click it. Upon checking the model of your computer, it suppose to have
      ATI Radeon HD4350 graphics card.
    • Select Properties.
    • You will see the status of the driver inside the Devices status box.

    We suggest that you also post a screenshot of the status of your graphics driver here for us to be able to check it also. Also, kindly perform the steps that
    EveDupont provided to see if it will resolve the resolution issue.

    We'll be waiting for your response.

    We need to gather more information for us to better understand your concern about the computer's screen resolution. Kindly answer these questions:

    • When did you start experiencing the screen resolution issue?
    • Where there any changes made on your computer before encountering the issue?
    • What is the model of your computer's graphics card? To know the model of the graphics card, follow these steps:
      • Right-click the Windows logo (Start button), and then click Run.
      • In the Run textbox, type dxdiag.
      • On the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window, click the Display tab. (NOTE: You can also see the model of your computer in the
        System tab of DirectX Diagnostic Tool window. Kindly provide the model of your computer also.)
      • Inside the Device box, you'll see the model of your graphics card.
    • What is the OS Build of your Windows 10? To determine the build of your Windows 10, do the following instructions:
      • Click the Windows logo (Start button).
      • Click the gear icon (Settings).
      • Select System.
      • On the left pane, choose About.
    • Have you tried performing the steps that EveDupont provided? If so, what is the result?
