Windows 10: My startup screen is saying other users

Please what should I do? I was working on my computer when a notification popped up for a restart and I restarted my computer. Only for my startup screen to say other users and there was no place for me to sign into my own account. No switch account. Tried signing in with my Microsoft account but it kept on saying incorrect password.Please how do I resolve this without loosing the informations on my drive

Startup user is not in user list

At startup Win 10 quickly goes to a user and says "The user name or password is incorrect. Try again". I click OK and then select the proper user from a list on the left of the screen, then click "Sign In" and everything is fine. That first user is not in my list of users. How do I stop that first user (non-user) from showing up at startup and, instead, startup with the desired user?

I suggest you to follow the step provided below to switch user.

• 
  Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete key.
  
• 
  Click on Switch User.
  
• 
  And select your user account.
  

Follow the steps provided below to remove Microsoft account.

• 
  Press Windows + I key.
  
• 
  Click on Accounts.
  
• 
  In your accounts, at the bottom click on the account you want to remove.
  
• 
  Then click on Remove button.
