My surface is arm64 based on windows 11 and when i try to download apps it wont allow me because of this is there anyway i can remove the arm64??

Running R statistical software on WIndows 11 ARM64 in x64 emulation

Hi.

I need an R statistical program to run on my Surface Pro X with Windows 11 and x64 emulator. Most of x64 programs run correctly in emulation mode, including SPSS 26 and Wolfram Mathematica 13 PMOD 4.3 all with Zulu Java 11 for x64. However, Rgui.exe and R.exe with version 4.1.1 of R start correctly only in 32-bit emulation. The x64 version of Rgui.exe starts but not show initialization screen and crashes within 5 seconds.

Anybody was able to run Rgui.exe of any version of R on Windows 11 ARM64? I use build 22621.1702. The producer of PMOD suggests using R 4.1.1 and it must be x64 version. I may try some other version of R.exe (and Rgui.exe) that will run on Surface Pro X (or other newer ARM64 based Surface SQ1, SQ2, SQ3 processor or 8cx).

Windows 10 Apps from the store wont download

Sorry for the delay in response.

• Do you face this issue only with these apps?
• Did you try downloading other apps?
• Did you try stopping these apps and then downloading it again?

We would suggest you to try the steps mentioned in the link

• Type troubleshooting in the search
  box and hit Enter.
• Click View all from the left pane and select Windows store apps.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and check.

If the steps don't work try these steps:

Try to reset the Windows store and check.

• Press Win + R on the keyboard to open run Window.
• Type wsreset.exe to reset the Windows store cache.
