Windows 10: My Surface Laptop 3 turn off immediately after clicking the power button

Subsequent to upgrading to Windows 11, I have encountered a complication with the startup procedure of my laptop. Upon activating the power button to initiate the laptop, the Microsoft logo briefly appears before an immediate shutdown occurs. In order to rectify this issue, I am compelled to repetitively press the power button until the laptop successfully initializes.

This doesn't list the "Surface Laptop", but you might give it a try to see.

Otherwise, you should be able to use OPTION ONE below to boot from the USB from advanced startup.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check, if it helps:

If you still have the device, please let the device charge at least 2 hours and do the 2-button shutdown one more time to see if you can turn on the device.

• A 2-button shutdown
  • Press and hold the power button on your Surface for 30 seconds.
  • Press and hold the Volume-up button and the
    Power button on your Surface at the same time for at least 15 seconds, and then release both. The screen may flash the Surface logo, but continue holding the buttons down for at least 15 seconds.
  • After you release the buttons, wait 10 seconds.
  • Press and release the power button on your Surface to turn it back on.

• Is the issue occurring after installing Windows 10?
• Do you remember making any specific change in the device prior to the issue?

This could be due to driver incompatibility. Try the steps below and check.

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter

Type Troubleshooting in search bar and click it

Click Hardware and Sound and then click Hardware and Device

Follow the instructions

Method 2: Update the driver

Step 1: Swipe in from the right and tap or click Settings, tap or click Power, and then tap or click Shut down to shut down Surface. If you can’t shut down Surface normally, press and hold the power button on your Surface
for 30 seconds.

Step 2: After Surface turns off, press and hold volume-up button and the power button on your Surface at the same time for at least 15 seconds, and then release both.

The screen may flash the Surface logo, but continue holding the buttons down for at least 15 seconds.

Step 3: After you release the buttons, wait 10 seconds.

Step 4: Press and release the power button again to turn your Surface back on.
