Windows 10: My surface pro 6 background wallpaper has changed to an "HP" themed picture on it's own.

I've had my Surface Pro 6 for around 2 1/2 years. I have never changed the background or messed with any theme or cared what my wallpaper displayed. Today I logged on and after working a bit i realized the background wallpaper has changed to a pic displaying the logo of a competing computer company. I haven't ever seen this wallpaper and I don't recall it ever being in the library of pictures. It clearly displays the "HP" logo on a very generic looking wallpaper. I'll include a screenshot. I've looked through my history and run virus diagnostics and I couldn't locate any abnormalities.

Win-10 themes keep changing

• Did you try the steps suggested by Suvarna Govinda above, what was the result?

As I understand the issue, Themes in Windows doesn't have the options to change on its own. Only the Wallpapers in the themes can change as selected ( Picture, Solid color and Slide Show ).

I would suggest you to make us understand that if the Wallpapers are changing in Theme which you have selected.

Below are the steps you can check if it helps.

• Press Windows + I keys and select Personalization.
• Select Theme and select the Default theme.
• Select the Desktop Background below and select the Picture
  and save it and check.

Background and Theme won't Sync Between Surface Devices

Greetings, all!

I recently purchased a Surface Pro 7 and am trying to sync the background wallpaper and theme with a Surface Laptop 3 (both running Windows 10). It's been several days and the wallpaper/theme is still not in sync, however. Here is a chronological list of
steps taken in an attempt to resolve the issue:

1) Confirmed that I was logged into my Microsoft account on both devices

2) Toggled the "Sync settings" switch in "Settings->Sync your settings" off and back on for both devices

3) Restarted the SettingsSyncHost.exe process as suggested in this post

4) Waited 24 hours for changes to take effect

5) Confirmed that OneDrive sync was turned on for both devices

6) Closed and re-opened OneDrive to see if this would "kick-start" the sync process again

7) Waited 48 more hours for changes to take effect

8) Verified that the box for "Enable syncing Internet Explorer settings and data" was checked, as suggested in this
post

OneDrive sync appears to be fully functional - I put some test files in my Surface Laptop's OneDrive desktop and they promptly showed up in the OneDrive desktop on the Surface Pro. The only thing not syncing in the background and theme.

Is there a way to manually force a sync between the devices' themes, instead of waiting for OneDrive to do so at whatever time it so pleases?

Bug using slideshow as background wallpaper

I've configured my windows to use slideshow as wallpaper and set the window theme based on color of the background picture. Using windows explorer, when the wallpaper changes if you are navigating through a list of itens then windoes selects the first
item from that list. Its annoying.
