Windows 10: my system crashed with a loud pop while playing BG3

    my system crashed with a loud pop while playing BG3


    Seems to function properly aside from crashing while trying to start games. How do I stabilize things?

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    Loud pop before playing sound

    I'm having problems with audio. Every time a sound plays, I hear a loud pop. This issue only occurs when I'm using my headphones. I think this is a driver or software issue but I don't know how to fix it. Any help? (I'm using Windows 10 Home v. 1903 on
    an HP Notebook 14-dk0022wm, if this helps.)

    Loud system sounds

    Hello.

    Problem is that I can't change loudness of the Windows notifications. There is "System sounds" volume mixer, but it doesn't change loudness of Windows tray notifications, and every such notify plays a maximal loud sound! It's annoying.
